GTL Excavating, Inc. is a family owned, operated, and argued about company, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Since 1990, we've delivered quality, personalized excavation and site work to the people and projects of Western Montana. More than three decades later, that commitment hasn't changed one bit.
We focus on design-build work, partnering closely with property owners and offering honest guidance drawn from real field experience. We've never treated clients like numbers. We walk the site, ask the right questions, and bring genuine knowledge to every conversation.

Led by Tammy Linton, Owner, Operator, and Western Montana Native
Tammy Linton has led GTL Excavating since 1990, building the company from the ground up with grit, hard-won expertise, and a real love for the work. As a woman business owner in construction, she has become one of Western Montana's most trusted excavation and site work contractors, serving residential, commercial, and government clients with the same personal commitment that has always defined GTL.
We treat every job site like it's our own land. That's just how we were raised to work.
Tammy also owns and operates Flintstone Paving, Inc., a sister company offering dedicated asphalt paving throughout Western Montana. Together, GTL and Flintstone give clients a full range of excavation, site work, and paving solutions under trusted local ownership.
